Business Support Specialist



Job Description:



Supporting Customer Service with order input/technical queries/warranty returns.

Supporting the Sales Team with relevant sales data/information co-designing and building tools and systems, which will directly support the department.

Sales/Service, related activities and running and maintaining these systems.

Training and assisting Customer Service team members with day-to-day issues.

Maintaining product range/price data on current/new product ranges.

Stock management/ordering from our European office.

Personnel: No direct reports but able to work on their own initiative and with

others.

Resources: Efficient use of resources to

progress work successfully.

Planning: Assist with implementation and delivery of department goals, regular KPI reporting and analysis, individual project delivery.

Decisions: Recommendation of intermediate actions to achieve department goals based on analysis.

Advise on project delivery based on advice from colleagues or external partners.Supervision: Reporting to the Aftermarket Sales UK ManagerContacts: Email, phone and fax with colleagues and customers.

Occasional face-to-face meetings with customers.

Occasional visit to the European office.Working



Conditions: Working in an open plan area in the Coventry office within the Aftermarket department team.

Some travel will be required to our European office.

A driving license would be an advantage as on occasions there would be travel within the UK. Commutable distance from the Coventry office.



Skills & Requirements: Education/Qualifications? Good standard of higher or further education i.e. NVQ Level 2.

Training/Skills Microsoft Office - advanced Excel including Visual Basic, Access. Lotus Notes AS400 system.

Work Experience/Knowledge Knowledge and appreciation of the UK Aftermarket.Knowledge of Aftermarket cataloguing.

Data analysis and interpretation skills.Experience in planning and project delivery.

Experience in introducing new products to the UK market.

Working for a large multi-product company.Special Aptitudes
