Buyer - Indoor Living



Our client is an established group of garden centres based in the south of the country. They are currently seeking to add to their team of experienced buyers within the Indoor Living section.



The SUCCESSFUL candidate will be responsible for:

• Sourcing suppliers and negotiating rates within the areas of Clothing, Christmas, Home Furnishings, Gift, Toys and other related ranges

• Annually carrying out a full range review for each product area

• Regularly visit suppliers and trade shows in the UK and overseas to ensure product concept and ranges are innovative and exciting to the customer

• Using available information to review product sales

• Controlling stock to ensure the correct balance between maximising sales and minimising stocks



The IDEAL person will possess:

• Buying experience within the Garden industry or High Street retail

• Product knowledge within Indoor living or a similar area

• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills
